Install OREO Global Beta MIUI 9 For Mi Note 2
This update is based on Android 8.0 Oreo and it comes with the MIUI 9 Global Beta update. The update also comes with the February security patch. You could not install this without unlock bootloader. After unlock bootloader you can install TWRP recovery on your device or flash via fastboot. So let’s follow the instructions and download links to install OREO Global Beta MIUI 9 For Mi Note 2.
Requirements:-
- First, take a complete backup of your device.
- Make sure unlock bootloader on your device and installed TWRP recovery (if you want to install recovery ROM).
- Need 60-70% charge for flashing on your device.
- Mi Flash tool link: MI Flash Tool
- Download Mi Note 2 Android Oreo Global Beta ROM:
- Read the instructions carefully.
Guide to install TWRP ROM:-
- Download “ miui_MI5Global_8.3.1_d7a7258e58_8.0.zip ” copy it to external memory.
- Now click on Install button.
- Then navigate to the miui_MI5Global_8.3.1_d7a7258e58_8.0.zip file, which you downloaded before.
- Swipe to install the ROM.
- When the process complete.
- After the complete process ” reboot ” your device.
- The first-time Reboot will take 4-5 minutes to boot, don’t interrupt the process.
Guide to install Fastboot ROM:
- Read Preparation.
- Install Mi Flash Tool.
- Download Fastboot ROM for your phone model and extract it via 7Zip.
- Now Turn On your phone into Download Mode by this method.
Charge The Device And HOLD Volume Up + Power On Button And Select Downlaod Mode.
- Then connect your phone to pc and run Mi Flash Tool ” MiFlash.Exe ” from “C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone “.
- Now check for Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader port if driver not installed install Manually browse Driver from “C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone”.
- Then Click “Browse” in Mi Flash Tool and Browse the Fastboot Rom folder and select Flash All.
- After that click on Refresh and Flash Button wait for the firmware update phone will auto reboot after it done.
